Cara believes that all young women in care require unconditional love, guidance and support whilst their day-to-day physical, psychological and spiritual needs within a safe and homely environment.
Every person is uniqueEach young person in care has the inherent right to protection, developmental opportunities and the provision of quality services, irrespective of class, cultural background, education or religion.
Cara respects that each young woman is unique and deserves the opportunity to develop self worth, self-respect and a sense of their own identity. Cara works towards encouraging them to develop the skills necessary to reach their individual goals and realise their potential.
Every person deserves respectCara also acknowledges the importance of the girls having the opportunity to have fun, to experience life as an adolescent and to be offered the same opportunities and respect as other young people within the community.
Cara has a proud history and a reputation for providing love, support and nurturing to young women who are experiencing extreme difficulties in their lives.
With the support of government and community partners, Cara assists young women who have suffered trauma and abuse to meet the challenges in their life.
