The Child Safety Commissioner's "As Eye See It" project provides young people living in out of home care with the opportunity to share their experiences and stories with those who care for them and with the broader community. Their stories are portrayed through six black and white photographs representing their out of home care experiences, along with a short description of their photographs and the messages behind them. These photographs will be displayed at Federation Square for a week beginning Friday 9th September 2011.
Cara has three girls participating and all three have thoroughly enjoyed this creative and reflective experience which has left them with a sense of achievement and pride.
