Cara provides out of home care for young women, some of whom are expecting or have a baby and as a part of the care, we offer therapeutic programs to assist our young women to develop their parenting and life skills.

Our homes

Cara operates four specialist residential homes that are purpose built and designed to meet the specific needs of high-risk adolescents.

The houses are set up to help each young person feel that where they live feels like their home and to have a sense of belonging.

Therapeutic programs

Cara offers a range of therapeutic programs and interventions designed to support personal development and to provide opportunities to participate in life activities, assist the return to mainstream school and improve social and recreational opportunities.
